Daniel Anngow & Simon Todd

Daniel Anngow and Simon Todd have opened their joint show 'The Firmament Solution' at Mint Gallery. Anngow who brought us 'Pavement Sunrise' showcases his latest work for which a large part is a new direction with the involvement of digital / mixed media artwork.

With his first showing at Mint, Todd exhibits nine photographs.

'The photography represents all the small things that elude us as we are all Busy Under Satan's Yolk. The way the wheel spins in this great machine has made us all destined for long hours and entertainment, rather than a life focused on the persuit of happiness, a persuit of fulfilment. I tried to capture the little things. From a fading leaf in autumn to the scenery of the Marlborough Sounds and the way the ocean looks as one with the sky at Oreti Beach in Southland.'

'The Firmament Solution' is open for one week only closing on Thursday 7th March.

John Paxie, resident potter at Glenfalloch Gardens brings us 'What I wasn't allowed to say...' which is a collection of new and previous ceramic work by this internationally established and award winning artist. The exhibition opens on Friday 8th March at 5:30pm with another extra viewing on Thursday 14th March at 5:30pm.
